May brought us to California to help Grandma Susan and Grandpa
Hal move into a new place in Redwood Shores. Kayla's school had
their Art Festival, and we had enough sunny days to warrant a trip or
two down to the lake beaches. Rachel enjoys reading about Winnie
the Pooh, Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel, and anything by Ezra Jack
Keats. Kayla is enjoying the "Rose" books from the "Little House"
series. We're up to "Little Farm in the Ozarks" now. Kris is
training for a long bike ride on Memorial Day, and Paul is running as
much as he can (aches and pains permitting) with an eye to doing a
summer or early autumn marathon.
