August has been another very full month for us.  The big news is that Paul's parents have purchased a house in Kirkland's Rose Hill neighborhood.  They're planning to move up in October, just in time for the rain to set in.  You can see the pictures and read about the house here

Kayla attended a Jump Rope camp for a week, and has been helping Kris run errands and rearrange the house.  She starts school again just after Labor Day, and is looking forward to seeing all of her school friends again.  She's reading everything in sight!

Rachel will attend a half-day program at Kayla's school beginning this fall.  She's very excited about joining her big sister there.  In preparation, she's been using the potty and wearing Big Kid Underwear as much as possible.

Kris tendered her resignation as a Software Engineer with mercury.com.  Her colleagues sent her off with a nice lunch.  We're looking forward to living life at a saner pace, and have already been enjoying spending additional family time together.

Paul is counting the gray hairs as they sprout, and training for the Portland Marathon, coming up in October.  He's done two 20+ mile runs, and is getting some quality speed and middle-distance work in as well.  Send positive "Keep Healthy" vibes his way!
