In December, as we got ready for the holidays, Kayla
ran her first 5k! Paul got to go on a field trip with Kayla's
class to the Wing Luke Asian Museum in Seattle, and we trimmed the
trees at our house as well as Grandma Susan and Grandpa Hal's.
Around the middle of the month, Rachel swam the length of the pool
by herself!
We also held our nearly-annual White Elephant Gift
Exchange - another rousing success, except that Paul inadvertently
took home the same gift he brought.
We hosted Uncle Matt for Christmas, and enjoyed
visiting with Susan and David. Then we spent the week after
Christmas playing in the snow, at the
Sleeping Lady
Mountain Retreat, near Leavenworth WA (about two hours northeast
of us).
