March has been a month of changes. We closed
on, then moved into our new house in Houghton. Shortly after
that, we put the pondhouse on the market, and saw it sell in two
days. In contrast to past real estate transactions, these were
relatively low-stress. We're settling into the new (old)
place, and figuring out the remodeling situation.
Kayla earned her advanced white belt in Tae Kwan Do.
She also competed in the school tournament, and won her sparring
division. While that felt like the high point of the
tournament to her, we were also very proud of her performance in her
forms group too. She's only been doing this for a couple of
months, and has really seemed to enjoy it. She's really into
the "Fairy Realm" series of books.
Rachel continues to play soccer and swim.
She's getting to be an expert at writing her name, and is full of
questions about how things work. She enjoys reading the
Beatrix Potter books a lot.
